Nordic Folk Alliance presents an inspiring conference program that brings together artists, organizers, and industry professionals from across the Nordics and around the world. Over the course of two days, panels, workshops, and discussions will explore current topics within folk and world music. It is a unique platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and inspiration – a gathering at the heart of Nordic music.

Festivalen i väglöst land — Saltofolk är sedan 70-talet fjällvärldens finaste musikhändelse. Varje sommar under midnattssolen samlas vi, strax söder om Stora Lulevatten, strax öster om Stora Sjöfallet.
Folkmusik och samisk kultur står i fokus — med utflykter mot melodisk pop, rock, country och annat. Dessutom poesi, workshops och dans till levande musik på hundraårigt trägolv — god mat, glada vänner, en och annan mygga och en sjö som är kall och klar.
De senaste åren har vi gästas av bland andra Iiris Viljanen, Väärt, Sara Parkman, Daniel Wikslund, Maxida Märak, Lena Jonsson Trio, Tobias Poggats, Rostam Mirlashari, den beryktade Båtorkestern och många många fler.
